The first half of our name comes from the Korean term Gosu (고수) which is used to refer to a highly skilled person. In competitive gaming, the term is usually used to refer to a person who dominates games.

The second half of our name comes from the fact that our team is agile, social, and we are really great listeners … just like rabbits … plus, rabbits are awesome in general … just like us.

Nick Smith



Romain is a subject matter expert when it comes to gaming and esports, having 22 years of experience in the field.

He was previously the owner of the gaming club oXmoze, from 2003 until it was sold in 2010. Since then, Romain has worked in various business and marketing roles in gaming and esports including Head of Gaming and Esports for meltygroup where he worked on projects for Coca Cola and Playstation Plus.

Upon co-founding GosuRabbit, Romain focused his abilities on consulting with clients and providing first-rate marketing communications strategy and execution within gaming.

Romain is a PC gamer and FPS pro. He grew up with games such as Wolfenstein 3D and Doom but began his career in gaming with Half Life Deathmatch and Counter Strike.



With 20 years of experience, our co-founder Nick is at the forefront of innovation in the gaming and esports space.

Prior to GosuRabbit, Nick has managed esports teams, worked as a director at gaming agencies and has over a decade of experience in business intelligence and marketing with brands such as Xiaomi, Hasbro and Bandai Namco.

Having worked at large multinational companies such as Timetric and ADT, Nick is an expert in developing innovative and creative digital marketing strategies as well as high-level consultancy with brands and organisations.

Nick’s gaming origin story begins with Mario, Zelda, and Tetris on the NES. He eventually graduated to CSGO where he founded his own competitive teams, fulfilling player, coach and managerial roles.
